I'm Baaaaaack...

...sorta.

Here's an impromptu day-after-Xmas photo that was kind of spur of the moment. It was just me, my camera, my new ride (2011 Honda Element EX 4WD thank you very much), and my gut instincts. It's kinda nice how things can turn out.

So while I'm not totally back yet, it's definitely a start! ;)

Melissa

So the lovely Melissa and I met at the Bikini Week Casting at the Hard Rock Intervention and I must say, it was a pleasure working with her again. First, I started out w/ strobe lighting then eventually moved onto natural lighting and I must say, I'm starting to grow quite fond of it. I was testing using flare and while I'm not ninja at it yet, I feel that it'll soon have a place in my arsenal of techniques. ;)

So here's the shoot I did w/ Moms and our (not so puppy of a) puppy. :) Isn't she cute?? MY PUPPY, NOT MY MOM. Well, she's pretty too but you're not allowed to think that!

Chloe, You Bounce To-And-Frowey

Ok, this lil' ball of energy is named Chloe. She's the recently-turned-5 lil' munchkin of an old car buddy of mine. She was the reason I'm considering buying a real speedlight to deal with changing lighting conditions and a kid who likes to run around close to the camera, then far away, then somewhere in between lol.

Anyway, on to the show. Here are a few of my favs:

So that's her. Her personality is as bright as her sweater! And I figured if I can make good pictures of her, I can photograph almost anyone! ;)
